Weird stuff I've encountered this week:
- A stunning woman who looked like a model, sitting in her very expensive car, burrowing a finger into her nostril like a wombat building a nest. Don't people realise we can see into their cars? It's surrounded in glass for fuck's sake!
- Arabic rap - from a Palestinian rapper. Now I've heard everything! The irony of this young Palestinian, performing rap - the music of the great satan, America - was just too obvious. He was rapping about the suppression of the Palestinian people by the great satan and about the hardships of life under the thumb of Israel. All valide points I'm sure but still . . .
- Once more I am delayed opening the bar because someone said one thing and then did another. My G/F says I should get angry and yell at them but what good would that do? I'd get angry, someone would get hurt and then I'm in gaol again. I've just decided that since fate has given me lemons, I'm going to sell fruit. I'm going to use the extra two weeks to refpaint and re-upholster the place. Think dark grey walls, tall plants, low lighting, red highlights and animal print seats.
