So I have noticed something of late. When we are kids we go see each other just 'cos we can. As we get into our 20s we start to define our time more and spend time with friends when we are "doing" something with them like dinner or a movie or sports; this continues into our 30s and so on.

Today, I went to see a friend just because I could. No reason, just a visit. I called her earlier and said "let's just play this afternoon" and she said she wanted to get out of the office so..... we did.

We just hung out and went for a drive and did "stuff" and it was great. We plan to do this again soon. This all started with a spur-of-the-moment trip to the coast in her brothers' Porche a few weeks ago and it is becoming a real "thing". I like being immature, it's way better than being childish.
